About SOTA

SOTA is an activity promoted by SPACE Network where teachers from different countries will work together and share ideas, knowledge and pedagogical issues. The main goal is to know how to prepare their classes as a story to be presented to the students.

The teachers’ challenge is to attract the attention of students. The class environment and learning methodologies are changing because of technology and students interests.

This is a special workshop organized by the former marketing communications committee and intends to bring together teachers that would like to know how to prepare their classes as a story to be presented to the students. The background of the teacher is not important since the workshop focusses on the pedagogical issues and not on the content.

As it is a workshop the number of participants is limited to 15. If you want to attend this workshop, please register with Susana Pinto at  .  The deadline to register for this workshop is 31 January 2017!

This event will take place on the 24th April, just before the SPACE conference, at ISCAP, Porto, Portugal. Participants can use a mobility grant to attend the event.

The main goal is to share experiences, knowledge, promote networking and discuss new teaching methods.

The programme comprises activities at the school in the morning and a visit to a TV channel in the afternoon.

The price of the event is 10 euros just to cover the cost of the lunch. All remaining cost will be covered by the organization.

All the participants will receive a certificate.
